Glen Curtiss is the hero of every under-educated over-achiever in the world leveraging his eighth grade education into over 500 inventions during his lifetime. In 1907 Glen Curtiss was the fastest man on earth running 136 mph on his V-8 powered motorcycle but before that he invented the handlebar throttle control and the V-twin motorcycle.
Later he went on to invent the first retractable landing gear, to hold the first pilot's license in 1911, and to become the father of navel aviation.
Honor Curtiss with this Curtiss script aluminum plaque.

Celebrate Vespa's return to America and impress your Vespa-riding Quadrophenia friends with this nifty hand-made 4.125 x 7.125” aluminum Vespa plaque!
You can drill the corners of the plaque and mount it to a wall in your home or garage or you can drill a hole in the center and stick in a clock mechanism. That, or you can place it in an honored spot on your mantle as a conversation piece in your living room. Use it under the side-stand of your motorcycle to let everybody know what you'd rather be riding or bolt it to the side of your tool box for a unique custom touch! If those options don't suit your fancy, then bolt on a pair of chrome mirrors onto the plaque and turn it into sculpture.
With this Vespa plaque the possibilities are only limited by your imagination!
